NOT SO PERFECT

This season we are inspired by Henri Matisse.

An idea brought from the very famous French artist, draftsman and collagist, Matisse believed his art to be "of balance, of purity and serenity devoid of the troubling or depressing subject..."; we create each piece with the same ideology. The prints are inspired by the cut out technique used by Matisse in the late 1940s. Hand drawings are then translated on the fabric using hand screen printing technique.
